The Special Apprenticeship Program in Vienna supports aspiring professionals by fully covering the course fees for apprenticeship final exam preparation courses. The Vienna Employees' Support Fund (waff) advances 100% of the market-standard course fees to enable participants to prepare for their exams in a focused and worry-free manner. Funding applications must be submitted before the end of the respective course to allow direct billing with the course providers. Funding is provided to apprentices whose apprenticeship ends within 12 months at the latest or who have completed their apprenticeship no more than 36 months ago; participants in inter-company apprenticeship training are excluded from the program. To meet the funding requirements, the following documents must be submitted: a signed and fully completed application for advance financing, a copy of the course invoice issued in the applicant’s name, and a registration certificate confirming the main residence in Vienna.
