Description

The “Other Renovation Measures in Apartments – Investment Grant” of the City of Vienna supports private residential users in the federal capital with significant modernization projects. With a funding amount of 20% of the verified and reasonable costs, the program specifically promotes measures such as the merging of apartments or renewal work on electrical systems. The financing is provided as a direct grant and will be available indefinitely from March 1, 2024. The funding aims to improve the quality of life in existing apartments while simultaneously ensuring the preservation of Vienna’s housing stock.

Eligible participants are tenants and owners of living spaces between 22 and 150 m² in buildings older than 20 years. Own labor and pure material costs are excluded. Applicants must submit, depending on the type of residence, a consent declaration from the property owner, Wiener Wohnen, or a current land register excerpt. Applications are submitted online via the Housing Promotion Office of MA 50. The transparent funding process ensures timely disbursement and provides interested parties with a predictable financing basis for their renovation projects.
