Description
The funding in Lower Austria supports agricultural and forestry enterprises through subsidies for the deployment costs of professional temporary workers in cases of unexpected absences and recovery stays. Participating farm managers and operator couples receive, in cases of hardship, reimbursement of up to 50% of the incurred expenses for a replacement lasting at least two months per year or in the case of recovery from three consecutive days (including two working days). A maximum of €60 per day of deployment under relief assistance and €4 per recognized hour of deployment in cases of illness or emergencies as social operational assistance can be claimed. Organization and mediation are carried out through regional replacement services or village helpers of the state.
To apply, an agricultural or forestry enterprise located in Lower Austria is required, whose management is pension-insured and in which no eligible person remains in the household. Funding is only possible if no other aid option exists. Costs for the deployment of operational helpers as well as organizational flat rates are funded, whereby amounts under €50 are not paid out for administrative reasons. The written application, including a cost breakdown, description of the deployment with start and end dates, and location information, must be submitted before the start of deployment. Applications can be submitted continuously from 01.01.2018. Approval is granted by the Department of Agricultural Funding of the State of Lower Austria; payment is made directly to the executing services after verification and proof of use within six months after the end of deployment.
