Description

In the federal state of Salzburg, the funding of cross-disciplinary cultural initiatives provides financial contributions for annual programs and individual projects of cultural associations, initiatives, and individuals. Eligible applicants include representatives from associations, non-profit organizations, and private individuals, as well as umbrella organizations based in Salzburg that represent the interests of cultural practitioners across disciplines. The support is provided as a grant and is specifically aimed at events and offerings in the city and rural areas of Salzburg—with particular focus on rural regions. Through this funding, a diverse and high-quality art and cultural program is created for the population, while simultaneously strengthening the creative potential of regional actors and artistic productions.

Submissions are possible until June 30 of each year at the latest and are subject to clear conditions: the activities must be interdisciplinary in nature, and the use of funds must predominantly take place in rural areas. Evaluation criteria particularly include the involvement of regional artists, innovative approaches to attracting new audiences, and networking among cultural initiatives. For the application, a fully completed and signed funding request, a detailed statement of planned income and expenses, as well as a content description with a program preview must be submitted. For first-time submissions or changes, a commercial register or association register excerpt as well as statutes must additionally be attached to ensure a transparent and well-founded decision-making basis.
