Description

The Tribal Home Emergency Aid of the Pfadfinden Foundation is aimed at tribes of the Federation of Scouts and their house and support associations that are faced with acute structural damage to their tribal homes. Whether burglary, fire, water pipe burst, or official requirements – unforeseen incidents can severely disrupt youth work. The funding provides grants of up to €2,000 per damage case for necessary immediate measures and covers material and craftsman costs. Volunteer work by members as well as expenses already covered by insurance or owners are not eligible for funding. Applications can be submitted easily and at any time via the Pfadfinden Foundation’s online portal; in addition to the digital application, proof of the damage incurred and the corresponding funding guidelines must be submitted.

With this immediate aid, the Pfadfinden Foundation aims to promptly restore the functional use of the premises and keep interruptions in group work as short as possible. An annual budget of €10,000 ensures that eligible applicants receive rapid support. The continuously open funding line enables flexible and needs-based planning of urgent repair measures and thus helps to quickly continue social and educational offerings in the spirit of the Scouts.
