Description
The Starthaus Coaching Program (BRUT) supports professionally qualified founders in the state of Bremen in the professional preparation of their innovative, technology-oriented, or knowledge-based service and product ideas. In a twelve-month accompanying program, participants acquire business management and legal knowledge related to founding a company, develop a viable business concept, and sharpen their marketing, sales, and social skills. The goal is to refine the business idea with a market-oriented approach and successfully implement the operational start-up. Funding is provided to founders with a completed (technical) university degree or vocational training who are still in the pre-start-up phase and have not yet taken any significant founding steps (revenue cap €10,000).
The grant of up to €8,500 is awarded together with qualification and coaching measures. Core components include business planning and business management qualification, acquisition, market entry and marketing training, communication training, as well as individual feedback sessions within a peer group approach. Additionally, project-related financial support for living expenses is provided. Selection is conducted through a three-stage process (written short application, presentation interview, full application submission). Required documents are a short application, a CV, and a six-page project description. Applications can be submitted by January 31 and August 31 each year. With this combination of professional coaching, networking opportunities, and financial support, the program sustainably strengthens the Bremen start-up location and accompanies innovative ideas until they are ready for founding.
