Funding objective

Ensuring that residential facilities for the care and upbringing of children and adolescents within the framework of full upbringing (§ 32 Bgld. Child and Youth Welfare Act) and day-care facilities within the framework of educational support (§ 31 Bgld. Child and Youth Welfare Act) are available. Attention must be paid to the different problem situations and age-appropriate needs of the children and adolescents.

Description

The funding supports public providers in the establishment and operation of residential as well as semi-residential facilities for child and youth welfare in Burgenland. Through an unlimited grant, district administrations and magistrates of statutory cities can access funds to provide demand-oriented services. The measure ensures that full-time residential care according to § 32 Bgld. Child and Youth Welfare Act and semi-residential day care according to § 31 Bgld. Child and Youth Welfare Act are available. Individual problem situations and age-appropriate needs of children and young people are taken into account. Applications can be submitted continuously without a deadline.

Funding is provided to providers of in-kind services who can demonstrate official approval by the state government for the establishment and operation of a residential or semi-residential facility in accordance with §§ 19 and 20 Bgld. KJHG. The documents required under §§ 19, 20, and 21 Bgld. KJHG must be submitted. The aim of the funding is the long-term assurance of high-quality care and educational capacities in all districts of Burgenland. This continuous financing option strengthens the regional supply structure and ensures demand-oriented care for young people.
