Foundation Award of the Gib Bildung eine Chance Foundation (Bremen School Project: Learning with Enthusiasm)

The Gib Bildung eine Chance Foundation annually awards the foundation prize “The Bremen School Project: Learning with Enthusiasm,” endowed with €3,000. Bremen school projects are honored that inspire children and young people for education through sustainable, creative, and holistic learning concepts and strengthen their individuality as well as creativity. An independent jury of supporting members selects two award winners as well as, if applicable, recognition awards from the submitted applications. Each award winner receives €1,500 in recognition of their best-practice character and exemplary potential for other educational institutions in the state of Bremen.

Eligible for funding are educational institutions, interest groups, associations, foundations, or private individuals based in the federal state of Bremen. A prerequisite is a sustainable project that promotes holistic learning and is open to innovative methods. Evaluation criteria include the sustainability of the learning concept, the implementation of a holistic approach, and the promotion of creativity and individuality. Applications are generally submitted by the end of December of the previous year; the exact deadline is published on the foundation’s website. With the foundation prize, the Gib Bildung eine Chance Foundation aims to recognize the commitment of schools and teachers and to encourage the exchange of experiences of best-practice-oriented projects.
