Description

The program supports projects aimed at conveying literary content in Carinthia and promotes the development of innovative formats as well as ongoing literary mediation initiatives. The goal is to make works by Carinthian authors accessible to a broad audience beyond the regional borders and to strengthen Carinthia’s cultural position in the field of literary mediation. Funding is provided as a non-repayable grant based on a public call for proposals, which is evaluated by an independent jury.

Eligible applicants include natural and legal persons, companies, non-profit organizations, interest groups, or foundations with a demonstrable connection to the state of Carinthia in the literary sector. Submissions are possible at any time via the online form (application deadline starts: 31.03.2025). Requirements include a detailed project description, a current CV, and a completed and signed form with all attachments. Only one submission per application deadline is permitted; completed projects, purely commercial projects, and final theses are excluded. Following a positive decision, a report on use and performance is required for accountability. Funding is granted without legal entitlement and remains available indefinitely. Current deadlines and dates are published on the Culture Channel.
