Scholarships for Non-Academic Social Professions

The Landfried Stiftung GmbH supports non-academic training in social professions in the Heidelberg area with monthly grants of €1,000. This offer is aimed at non-academics under the age of 40 who are completing vocational training in fields such as elderly care, education, or social work. The goal is to strengthen young talents whose career paths would otherwise be at risk due to a lack of state support and high living and tuition expenses. In addition to financial relief, scholarship recipients benefit from individual counseling as well as regular exchange meetings with management to reflect on and further develop their personal career paths.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis: Eligible are individuals residing in the Heidelberg area with official proof of enrollment in a non-academic social profession training program. Expenses for living costs and tuition fees are funded, with selection based on social need and professional motivation. The application requires an informal letter with a passport photo, the completed application form, and a motivation letter of approximately two pages. The continuous awarding without a fixed deadline offers interested parties the opportunity to sustainably shape their professional future at any time.
