Description

The Dr. Jürgen and Irmgard Ulderup Foundation annually awards scholarships and prizes for outstanding achievements in engineering sciences, mechanical engineering, Romance studies, and natural sciences. Eligible for funding are individuals enrolled or admitted at Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, Leibniz University Hannover, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, or within the framework of the German National Academic Foundation. The objective is to recognize academic accomplishments and provide sustainable support to young people through international scholarships as well as subject-specific awards such as the Irmgard Ulderup Prize in Romance Studies or the Dr. Jürgen Ulderup Prize in Engineering Sciences. Awards are granted continuously through partner institutions, which select recipients based on outstanding theses, research work, and excellent academic performance.

The foundation is active in Baden-Württemberg and Lower Saxony and supports both students and doctoral candidates.
