The objective is to intensify global collaboration, establish sustainable governance structures, and promote cross-border data exchange and interoperability. Eligible activities include personnel costs, travel and subsistence expenses, material costs, and subcontracting services; the funding rate is 100%, with amounts per project ranging from €1,000,000 to €1,500,000. Consortia must include at least one ESFRI Landmark or ERIC and at least one partner institute from a non-associated third country. Evaluation criteria include methodology, expected impact on European research, and efficiency of project implementation.

The submission deadline is 16 June 2026 (17:00 Brussels time), with electronic application expected to open on 10 March 2026. Required documents are project description, application form, CVs, and registration certificates. Through this call, the European Commission aims to strengthen the global position of European infrastructures and initiate new collaborations with partners outside Europe. The program supports not only sustainable cooperation but also governance models for data sharing and joint agreements that contribute in the long term to addressing global challenges in areas such as environmental monitoring or health. Interested consortia are encouraged to design their projects in line with EU priorities for digitalization and research & innovation, thereby maximizing benefits for researchers in Europe.
