Description
The Klaus Murmann Study Support Program of the Foundation of German Business (sdw) nationwide supports particularly talented and socially committed students and doctoral candidates from all disciplines as an award and recognition. The focus is on developing an entrepreneurial mindset combined with social responsibility. Supported individuals benefit from sustainable financial assistance as well as an ideal educational offering that includes interdisciplinary workshops, mentoring by experienced experts, and networking events. Currently, over 2,000 participants are part of the program and have the opportunity to deepen their skills in leadership, innovation, and science in a practical manner together with renowned partner organizations.
The eligibility criteria include valid university enrollment or doctoral status, proven academic achievement, and active social engagement. Selection is based on clearly defined criteria: academic excellence, commitment to the social environment, and demonstrated entrepreneurial potential. The program is offered continuously, with exact deadlines available on the sdw website. Since 1994, more than 7,500 talented individuals have been supported, who continue to promote each other through the sdw alumni network and grow into responsible shapers of the future.
