Study Compass (Foundation of German Business)

The Studienkompass of the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft is aimed at motivated young people from non-academic families residing in Germany. In a nationwide private support program, participants in their last two years of school and throughout their first year of study or vocational training receive individual guidance. The goal is to promote equal opportunities in the education system and to facilitate the transition to university or vocational training. With a mentoring concept and a variety of workshops, the program fosters self-confidence, career choice competence, and study motivation.

Supported are students who are two years away from their Abitur and whose parents do not hold a German university degree. Over a period of 36 months, participants benefit from personal mentors, networking events, and digital offerings for study and career orientation. Applications are possible until April 19, 2026. The selection process is based on academic performance, commitment, and individual potential. By receiving the Studienkompass award, young people gain not only professional impulses but also sustainable support on their educational path.
