Subsidies for various EU and Alpine-Adriatic related projects

The initiative supports events and projects in Carinthia that place the European and Alpine-Adriatic ideas at the center and generate sustainable added value for participants as well as broad segments of the Carinthian population. Funding is provided for contributions from private individuals, companies, non-profit organizations, public institutions, and foundations that set regional development impulses or address agriculture and rural development. A continuous submission option allows flexible planning of new formats – whether in the form of exhibitions, conferences, workshops, or intercultural exchange projects. The decision is based on a discretionary assessment according to the General Guidelines for Funding from State Funds, with direct funding granted as a subsidy.

For the application, a complete proposal with a detailed budget plan and a subsidy declaration is required. A formal funding commitment forms the basis for the subsidy. Additionally, a detailed program of the project must be submitted, transparently outlining all planned activities and expenses. The deadline depends on the event date: applications must be submitted before the planned event. Upon completion of the funded project, the accounting documents proving the use of funds must be submitted without delay to the Office of the Carinthian State Government – Department 1, State Office Directorate.
