Talent Company (Strahlemann Foundation) – Application as a School

The Strahlemann Foundation supports all educational institutions nationwide with lower secondary and/or intermediate secondary school branches in establishing a multimedia-equipped Talent Company as a practical specialist room for career orientation. Teachers and learners are intensively supported over a period of 36 months to implement workshops, teacher training, and company collaborations on site. A prerequisite is the provision of a suitable room of at least 60 m². In close cooperation with regional companies, students experience in a respectful atmosphere which professions match their individual strengths and how application skills can be further developed in real situations. Continuous funding is provided in the form of a grant that covers both the technical equipment of the specialist room and the implementation of professional events.

The professional support includes, in addition to the establishment of the Talent Company, the organization of round tables where schools and companies coordinate training offers. Existing spatial conditions, commitment to career orientation, and cooperation with regional partners are evaluated. Applications can be submitted continuously; the deadline is the date of the non-binding declaration of interest. A completed application form and a data protection declaration are required. The goal is to sustainably strengthen school development and training cooperation, reduce training dropouts, and increase the attractiveness of schools in their region. Through the three-year support, each school can independently and successfully continue its Talent Company after the project ends.
