Description
The nationwide Team Musiala program offered by the Team Musiala Foundation is aimed at registered sports clubs and seeks to teach children aged 7–12 years values education and a growth mindset in a playful manner. Through seven interactive units of 15–20 minutes each, the free course concept integrates values such as gratitude, empathy, respect, and responsibility into regular training sessions. The focus is on practical thought-provoking impulses, conversation starters, and small tasks that enable active engagement with personal strengths and mental strategies. Upon successful participation, each team receives valuable sports equipment – from footballs and goals to sports bags – thereby making a sustainable contribution to club development.
Eligible for funding are all football coaches who are active in an officially registered sports club and coach a team of children aged seven to twelve. Interested coaches can register for the foundation’s special newsletter to be informed in time about the application window for the 2025/2026 season. Registration is simple via an online form; the only requirement is active coaching work with a children’s team in the specified age group. The program not only provides clubs with a motivating boost for team spirit but also supports the individual personal development of young athletes – a win-win situation for the club, team, and youth.
