Description
The team-oriented coaching program of the Oase Foundation is aimed at teaching teams at vocational schools throughout Germany. In interactive groups of four to ten participants, current school-related challenges are analyzed and practical solution strategies are developed collaboratively. Based on the concepts of salutogenesis and existential analysis, the program promotes the activation of personal resources, strengthens collegial cooperation, and contributes to the sustainable professionalization of teachers. Before each session, individual goals are coordinated between the group and the facilitator, ensuring that each coaching session is precisely tailored to the specific school situation. The methodology emphasizes respectful communication, diversity within the staff, and the reflection of different perspectives in everyday school life.
Funding is provided in the form of a nationwide subsidy: for a full-day team coaching, a course fee of €600 is covered; for a half-day session, €450. Travel expenses for the coaches are not eligible for funding and must be settled directly between the school and the coach. Funding prerequisites include booking by the school management of a vocational school and the provision of a suitable room on site. Public and educational institutions can arrange appointments continuously based on availability. The subsidy covers both the coaching fees and organizational costs, thereby enabling low-threshold participation, which ideally should take place at least twice per school year to ensure long-term effects.
