Description
Technovation Girls Germany is aimed at young girls and girls as well as non-binary youth aged 10 to 18 residing in Hamburg. Within this continuously open program, participants work in small teams to develop their own app solutions for real social and ecological challenges. Digital and entrepreneurial skills are taught throughout: from the initial idea generation, through design, to technical implementation and presentation. The teams are supported by experienced mentors who provide professional guidance and assist with project organization. In this way, a space is created where creativity, problem-solving, and technical curiosity are equally fostered.
Technovation Girls Germany aims to inspire girls and young people long-term for future technologies and to strengthen their role as creators of a digital world. Participation offers practical insight into programming methods, agile working practices, and entrepreneurial thinking. By focusing on local issues, a direct connection to one’s own living environment and socially relevant topics is also established. The program is regionally supported by the German Children and Youth Foundation (DKJS) and enables networking with other educational partners. A continuous application phase ensures that interested individuals can join at any time and benefit from comprehensive support.
