Description
The funding program "Participation of Young Innovative Companies in International Leading Trade Fairs in Germany (Young Innovators)" supports start-ups and small to medium-sized enterprises based in Germany that have been on the market for no longer than ten years in their first presentation at international leading trade fairs in Germany. Up to 50% of eligible expenses are funded, with a maximum of €25,000 per company. The focus is on costs for booth rental, booth construction, marketing and communication measures, technical equipment, as well as service and support flat rates. Travel expenses, accommodation, and personnel costs are not eligible for funding. Evaluation is based on the innovativeness of the offering, the relevance of the trade fair for internationalization, and the economic viability of the company.
Applications can be submitted at any time but must be received at least six weeks before the start of the trade fair. Prerequisites include a company headquarters registered in Germany and operational activity within the federal territory, proof of first-time participation in the respective leading trade fair, as well as the innovative character of the product or service. The application requires, among other documents, a completed application form, a company profile, proof of establishment, and a cost estimate for the trade fair participation. The program specifically promotes the internationalization of young innovators and strengthens the positioning of German technology and services in global markets.
