Description

The Territorial Employment Pact Carinthia 2026 pools state, federal, and EU funds to effectively support labor market policy measures in Carinthia. The goal is to promote projects and programs through targeted grants that make a demonstrable contribution to securing employment, qualification, and the integration of disadvantaged target groups. The basis is the current labor market strategy of Carinthia; tailored and target group-specific measures are developed based on the legal requirements of the Labor Market Service Act, the GDPR, and relevant EU directives. Both continuing education initiatives and projects for skilled labor development and stabilization of the regional labor market are funded. The disbursement of project-related grants depends on progress or accounting, and a combination with own funds is possible.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, companies, public institutions, interest groups, as well as other associations that support labor market disadvantaged individuals – including job seekers, long-term unemployed, and low-skilled adults – in their qualification and labor market integration. Applications can be submitted continuously; there is no deadline. The evaluation focuses on three central criteria: contribution to employment, relevance to qualification, and target group orientation. The responsible specialist unit in the Office of the Carinthian State Government, Department 11 – Social Affairs, Housing, and Labor Market, manages the program in close cooperation with municipalities, NGOs, and AMS Carinthia and ensures effective implementation in the interest of sustainable labor market development.
