The Balthasar Children and Youth Hospice Foundation offers private individuals nationwide the opportunity to specifically allocate their assets through a testamentary donation (endowment or trust foundation) for the support of seriously ill children and adolescents. Without incurring inheritance tax, the entire estate flows 100% into strengthening the foundation’s assets and thereby into the sustainable securing of palliative and psychosocial services. An endowment preserves the capital permanently, and its proceeds finance hospice projects and operating costs in the long term, while a trust foundation enables timely use of funds for current needs.

Interested parties who wish to donate all or part of their assets to the charitable work of the Balthasar Children and Youth Hospice Foundation may submit a testamentary disposition at any time. The document “Testamentary Disposition” suffices as a basis to consider the foundation either as a trustee or direct beneficiary. The funding is provided as a one-time grant and is available indefinitely. Through this offer, the foundation makes an important contribution to health, social affairs, and child and youth welfare by relieving families and enabling affected children to have valuable time in loving care.
