Description

The thematic call is aimed at non-profit civil society organizations as well as human rights actors active in Costa Rica who are committed to democratic structures, human rights, and social cohesion. EU funds support projects that contribute to strengthening participatory processes and the rule of law. Measures to raise public awareness, capacity building of local initiatives, and the establishment of sustainable networks among civil society actors are funded. The provided funds support a sustainable improvement of social cohesion and contribute to strengthening democratic institutions on site.

Funding is provided primarily on the basis of a grant for personnel costs, material costs, and travel expenses. A valid registration in the PADOR system and compliance with the EU call conditions are prerequisites for submitting an application. The following documents are required for a complete application: Project Proposal (Formulario Solicitud Completa), Budget Plan (Annex B), Logical Framework (Annex C), Identification Form (Annex D), PADOR Registration Form (Annex F), and Standard Grant Contract (Annex G). The deadline for submitting all documents is 03.03.2026.
