Description
The funding program supports independent outpatient clinics in Upper Austria in providing therapeutic services for people with disabilities. Based on § 17 of the Upper Austrian Equal Opportunities Act and the Hospital Act 1997, demand-oriented therapy services are financially supported to strengthen equal opportunities and participation. The grants contribute to enabling specialized institutions such as therapy centers of the Evangelical Diaconal Institute Gallneukirchen, Caritas St. Isidor, the Hartheim Institute, and Assista Social Services GmbH in Altenhof to offer their services sustainably and with high quality. As an ongoing measure, the program funds projects in the fields of social affairs, health, as well as work & social affairs, facilitating sustainable care for people with physical, mental, or sensory impairments.
Funding is provided to independent outpatient clinics that offer therapy services in accordance with the Hospital Act 1997. Prerequisites include appropriate, economical, and efficient use of funds, a reasonable cost structure, and a defined utilization rate of the facilities. Applications can be submitted at any time; submission requires a fully completed and signed form, a detailed budget plan, and proof of use documenting actual expenses and income. The processing is carried out by the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government, Directorate for Social Affairs and Health, Department of Social Affairs. This funding opportunity offers autonomous outpatient clinics the possibility to expand their service portfolio and continuously improve care security for people with disabilities.
