Funding objective
Support for Tyrolean companies in the implementation of state-of-the-art digital technologies, including training measures for employees, to digitize internal processes, secure value creation, and improve the competitiveness of the Tyrol economic location.
Eligible expenses

- Location in Tyrol
- Affiliation with the commercial economy or possession of a valid trade license
- Companies predominantly owned by the public sector are excluded
- Companies in Tyrolean tourism promotion are excluded
- Submission only every two years per company

Description
The Tyrolean Digitalization Grant supports companies based in Tyrol in the implementation of state-of-the-art digital technologies and accompanying training measures for employees. The goal is to digitize internal processes, secure value creation paths, and sustainably increase the competitiveness of the Tyrolean business location. Funding is provided for personnel costs (up to 10% of the eligible total costs), external services, material and supply expenses, as well as investments in software and hardware. For each project, a funding amount of up to €1,000,000 can be applied for, with a funding rate between 10% and 50% depending on company size and project volume. Ineligible for funding are, among others, standard hardware, basic software, marketing or e-commerce measures, as well as ongoing license and rental costs.
Eligible to apply are commercial enterprises or those with a valid trade license located in Tyrol. Excluded are companies predominantly owned by the public sector as well as participants in the Tyrolean Tourism Promotion. Each company may submit an application once every two years; project start is earliest on 01.01.2025. The submission period runs from 01.03.2024 to 31.12.2027. A complete application includes a detailed project description, a detailed cost breakdown, offer documents, and current annual financial statements. This funding, provided as a non-repayable grant under the De-minimis regulation, is aimed at micro, small, medium, and large enterprises seeking to expand their digital potential and secure long-term future opportunities in Tyrol.
