Description
The Tyrolean Internationalization Support program assists micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises based in Tyrol in sustainably expanding their global market presence. Funding is provided for consulting services aimed at developing a targeted internationalization concept, participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions, the production of target group-specific publications, as well as classic and digital marketing measures. Necessary certifications and standardizations in the target country can also be subsidized. As a non-repayable grant, the program covers up to 30% of eligible expenses and offers a maximum funding amount of €50,000 per company per year. This opens up opportunities for Tyrolean SMEs to access new markets, diversify existing business relationships, and strengthen competitiveness at the international level.
Eligible to apply are all commercial SMEs according to the EU definition with a valid business license and a location in Tyrol. Eligible expenses include external internationalization consulting, trade fair booth rentals, publication production costs, marketing and online campaigns, as well as external certification and standardization fees. Own contributions, internal services, and the creation or relaunch of websites are not eligible. To apply, a description of the planned internationalization measures, a detailed cost breakdown, and quotes for consulting, trade fair, and marketing activities must be submitted. The funding application must be submitted electronically before the project starts; no later than December 31, 2027. With this measure, the State of Tyrol specifically promotes the internationalization of local companies and thus strengthens the regional value chain.
