Funding objective
The goal is to preserve and enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism and leisure industry in the areas of gastronomy, hospitality, and tourist-relevant infrastructure facilities, to create and secure jobs, as well as to strengthen regional resilience through investments subject to activation requirements.

Description
The Tourism Offensive Tourism SMEs supports small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism and leisure industry in the state of Salzburg with a non-repayable grant of 10% on eligible project costs (minimum EUR 100,000, maximum EUR 500,000), but no more than EUR 50,000 per project. Eligible applicants are businesses from gastronomy, hospitality, and tourism-relevant infrastructure facilities within designated area frameworks. Funded are activation-required investments in tangible and intangible assets such as conversions, expansions or new constructions, furnishings and software acquisitions, as well as architect and consultancy fees. Own contributions, including verified material and personnel costs, are also recognized. The program aims to increase competitiveness, create and secure jobs, and strengthen regional resilience.
The two-year project duration begins at the earliest with the funding application, which must be submitted electronically to the Office of the Salzburg State Government before the project start. Funding prerequisites include, besides the investment location, membership in the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce or the intention to join, compliance with the de minimis aid limits, and proof of use within three months after project completion. Required documents include, among others, the fully completed funding application, the most recent available annual financial statement, quotes or cost estimates, and evidence of other requested or received funding. Applications are possible until December 31, 2027, at the latest; the funding period runs until June 30, 2028.
