Description
The funding program “Inter-company Vocational Training Courses” in Baden-Württemberg is aimed at non-profit organizations and self-administration bodies of the economy, including chambers of crafts, chambers of industry and commerce, as well as state guild associations. The objective is the support of the implementation of supplementary courses in accordance with the Vocational Training Act and the Crafts Code, as well as the financing of necessary boarding costs for trainees. The courses used are based on the framework curricula recognized by the responsible federal ministry or suitable crafts curricula. A maximum of 20 participants per course are allowed, who have concluded a training contract with a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) in Baden-Württemberg. Exceptions for larger companies are possible if economic viability is maintained. Both course fees and accommodation costs are eligible for funding.
The funding is provided as a grant of up to €50 per course week and up to €30 per week for boarding accommodation. Applications can be submitted continuously, with early submission before the start of the courses recommended. Template documents for the 2025 application are available upon email request from the responsible ministry. The program makes a significant contribution to ensuring a high-quality training level by enabling trainees to access specialized content that cannot be provided within their own company.
