The jury evaluates projects based on the degree of technical innovation, market potential, and implementation competence, setting a funding rate between 15% and 60% of the eligible net costs depending on the company size. Additional funds from national or EU programs can be combined while respecting EU state aid limits.

Project costs up to €300,000 net within a maximum duration of 24 months are eligible for funding, provided a significant portion is realized in Carinthia or a regional benefit arises. Eligible expenses include personnel costs, standardized entrepreneur’s salary, overhead flat rate, material and supply costs, investments, and external services. All exceptions defined in the cost guidelines are ineligible. The application period runs from July 28, 2025, to December 31, 2026, with applications to be submitted electronically to the Carinthian Economic Development Fund before project commencement.
