Implementation of Inclusive Measures (Inclusion Guideline)

The program Implementation of Inclusive Measures (Inclusion Funding Guideline) supports targeted activities in Saxony that serve the realization of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Public and state-funded research institutions can continuously receive grants to establish awareness-raising measures for the concerns of people with disabilities, dismantle communication barriers, and enable comprehensive participation. With a funding rate of up to 100%, expenses for awareness-raising, barrier-free information services, and inclusive participation projects are financially secured. The funding areas extend across social affairs, health, as well as labor & social affairs and aim to sustainably advance inclusion in Saxony.

Supported are initiatives that strictly comply with the action plan of the Saxon State Government on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and consistently transform an integrative approach into an inclusive approach. Projects must be clearly defined in terms of time, finances, and subject matter and demonstrate the actual funding need. Eligible to apply are exclusively state-funded research institutions as well as other public bodies in the Free State, but not institutionally funded cultural institutions. Eligible costs particularly include measures to increase accessibility in communication, raise public awareness, and strengthen participation. The allocation is carried out by the Saxon Development Bank – Förderbank – on behalf of the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism.
