Environmental Funding - Reusable Diaper Systems (Diaper Voucher)

The environmental funding program "Reusable Diaper Systems (Diaper Voucher)" of the City of Graz is aimed at private individuals in Styria and supports the purchase of washable and reusable diaper systems with a one-time grant of up to €160 per child. A minimum invoice amount of €100 is a prerequisite for the funding, which is valid between 01.01.2025 and 31.12.2026 and can be applied for retroactively up to twelve months after the child's birth. In the areas of environmental/nature protection as well as energy efficiency & climate protection, the program contributes to waste reduction during the diapering phase and raises awareness of sustainable alternatives to disposable diapers. Eligible expenses include exclusively the purchase of washable and reusable diapers, and the funds are granted as a direct, non-repayable subsidy.

Eligible applicants are parents or legal guardians with primary residence in Graz, whose child is no older than twelve months and is also registered with primary residence in Graz. Applicants must submit a fully completed application form, the child's birth certificate, and a verifiable invoice with a purchase value of at least €100. The invoice date and submission must each not be older than twelve months. The application can be submitted free of charge via an electronic form to the City of Graz. The deadline ends twelve months after the child's birth or at the latest on 31.12.2026. Processing is carried out by the Environmental Office of the City of Graz in accordance with the applicable funding guidelines.
