Corporate Forest (Companies Plant Trees)

The Corporate Forest program offers companies across Germany the opportunity to establish their own forest site starting from a minimum planting quantity of 2,000 trees. Within this sponsorship initiative, the non-profit Foundation Unternehmen Wald cooperates with partners from business and forestry administration to reforest native deciduous and coniferous tree species in a site-appropriate manner or to restore damaged forest stands. In addition to the ecological contribution to biodiversity and climate protection, this commitment strengthens the company's own ESG strategy and can be designed as an attractive employee event with symbolic or active planting activities. Participants receive a customizable tree certificate in PDF format, ideal for marketing and communication purposes.

Companies of all industries and sizes can submit inquiries continuously and conclude a sponsorship agreement. The foundation takes care of selecting suitable sites, obtaining official permits, and the professional implementation by forestry experts between November and March. The concept includes initial afforestation, reforestation, and forest conversion projects, in which coniferous forests are transformed into stable mixed deciduous forests. With this year-round funding offer, the ecological footprint can be measurably reduced while simultaneously setting a sustainable example for employees, customers, and the public. The cooperation in the form of sponsorship enables, beyond the planting activity itself, the use of the foundation's seal in the corporate presentation.
