One-time or multiple allowances particularly promote housing needs, including rent and operating costs; also measures for housing renovation and equipment. In addition, grants are provided for the acquisition of aids and medical devices (for example, hearing aids, glasses, or orthopedic aids), for dental prostheses, as well as for medically prescribed spa stays. School, study, and learning allowances, as well as contributions to supplementary health insurance groups, support participation in the education and healthcare systems. Ongoing submission opportunities enable flexible utilization, with a focus on strengthening self-initiative and self-help.
