Support for Organizations with Security Responsibilities

The funding in Vorarlberg supports public institutions as well as non-profit organizations with security responsibilities through financial grants. The goal is to maintain and expand regional security structures at a high level by promoting training measures, infrastructural adjustments, and the procurement of modern equipment. The Department of Internal Affairs and Security (Ia) ensures that security organizations are optimally equipped and trained to meet the requirements of disaster protection and public safety. The program is continuously open for applications from 01/01/2024 onwards and offers long-term planning security for all parties involved.

Activities in the areas of training and further education, structural and technical infrastructure, as well as the acquisition of equipment items are eligible for funding. Prerequisites for funding include activity in the security sector, coordination with the Department of Internal Affairs and Security (Ia), and compliance with the General Funding Guidelines of the State of Vorarlberg. Applications can be submitted at any time, as there is no deadline restriction. Interested organizations can thus submit project-related applications flexibly and according to their needs and receive a transparent decision based on clearly defined criteria. This support ensures that Vorarlberg’s security actors are optimally prepared for future challenges.
