Change Hürth "Your Idea Counts"

The Hürth Citizens' Foundation invites young people aged 13 to 19 residing in Hürth to submit their creative project ideas as part of "Change Hürth – Your Idea Counts." We are seeking concepts that promote and highlight community life in the neighborhood, environmental and nature conservation, as well as social cohesion within the city. Participants will receive financial support as well as professional guidance in planning and implementing their projects. Whether an individual project, team initiative, or school class activity – the foundation supports ambitious young people in actively shaping Hürth and demonstrating the impact of youth engagement.

Requirements for application include being between 13 and 19 years old, having a valid residence in Hürth, and – in the case of minors – obtaining consent from legal guardians. Membership in the Hürth Citizens' Foundation excludes participation. To apply, the completed project form must be submitted, detailing the idea, purpose, target group, and implementation plan. The submission deadline is September 30, 2026 (the postmark or the time of electronic receipt is decisive). Following the selection process, the chosen projects are expected to be realized within 2026 and published by the Citizens' Foundation. This funding program offers young people a unique opportunity to realize their visions in their hometown and create sustainable impulses for Hürth.
