Description

The European Youth Education and Youth Meeting Center Weimar Foundation continuously opens registration opportunities for over 100 seminars, training sessions, exchanges, and encounters. The educational offerings are aimed at young people, young adults, as well as multipliers such as teachers and memorial site staff who wish to engage with historical-political education, democracy education, anti-discrimination, and international youth work. Participants benefit from diverse formats – from professional seminars in English to module series on anti-bias methods to thematically specific project series such as “European Culture(s) of Remembrance.” Each event addresses central socio-political issues, promotes critical reflection, and supports competencies for civic engagement. The EJBW also facilitates cooperation with educational institutions and non-profit organizations and is open to private individuals interested in exchange and further education in the European context.

As a continuously available participation program, the funding aims to create contemporary learning and meeting spaces for democracy and human rights. Regional and international exchanges provide space for intercultural understanding and the reduction of prejudices. With innovative training formats, practice-oriented workshops, and historically grounded excursions, a vibrant learning environment is created: from CourageCoach training to memorial site visits on Nazi history to long-term trainer qualifications, diverse access points open up. Interested parties can register at any time for individual events and expand their competencies for social cohesion and global understanding. The offerings are not bound to any application deadline and are open to participants from Thuringia as well as beyond.
