Catering for individual accommodation per month, Lower Austria

The funding "Meals for individual accommodation per month" in Lower Austria represents a subtle yet crucial support to secure the necessary livelihood. Since December 3, 2013, this continuously available service within the framework of basic provision offers financial relief to persons in need of assistance and protection living in private apartments by providing monthly subsidies for nutrition. The aim of this measure is to cover the essential need for food and thus ensure physical well-being as a foundation for social participation. Eligible are all persons in need of assistance and protection with their main residence in the federal state of Lower Austria, provided that no grounds for refusal, suspension, or restriction exist according to the Lower Austria Basic Provision Act. Applications can be submitted at any time, as there are no fixed deadlines and the funding can be applied for continuously. The processing is carried out by the Office of the Lower Austrian State Government, Department of Finance, in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Through the clear legal basis in the Basic Provision Agreement pursuant to Art. 15a B-VG, this program offers transparent and reliable assistance for all affected households.
