Adult Education Center during the Holidays (Dieter Kaltenbach Foundation)

The Dieter Kaltenbach Foundation offers an artistic and craft-based program for children and adolescents in Baden-Württemberg through the holiday program “VHS in den Ferien.” On the foundation’s premises in Lörrach, experienced instructors open up creative opportunities daily between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in small groups. In addition to painting and modeling, the program includes woodworking and textile projects as well as upcycling initiatives and a variety of craft techniques. For a stress-free arrival, optional early care from 7:30 a.m. can be booked. Bookings are available year-round depending on availability via the foundation’s website, with the option to select individual holiday weeks or the split model in combination with the open holiday program at any time.

As a subsidy offering, the program is aimed at private individuals seeking qualified holiday care for their child. Participation requires registration through the website and adherence to the age-appropriate course assignment. Application includes acknowledgment of the VHS course terms and conditions as well as the rules and insurance information for the holiday program. Free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the course begins, ensuring flexibility; thereafter, course fees are retained.
