From People for People of Our Region

Since its founding in 2010, the Volksbank Lübbecker Land Foundation "From People for People of Our Region" has been supporting sustainable projects in North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein. With the goal of continuously improving the quality of life in the rural area between Dümmer and Werre, the foundation supports non-profit organizations committed to preserving and further developing local structures. Financial grants are provided in various areas such as construction and monument preservation, education, children and youth, culture, social affairs, infrastructure, vocational training, and employment and social services. The foundation’s dedicated approach underscores the principle "From People for People" by promoting projects that serve sustainable self-help in the region.

Initiatives, associations, and institutions distinguished by their project ideas and actively contributing to enhancing regional quality of life can benefit from the funding opportunities. The grant is explicitly aimed at non-profit organizations operating exclusively within the Lübbecker Land. The projects pursued include, in addition to art and culture, areas such as youth and elderly care, monument preservation, education, vocational training, as well as environmental and nature conservation. Applications are submitted by downloading and submitting the corresponding funding application, ensuring a transparent and user-friendly administrative process.
