Description
The VOR Jobs PLUS Training Grant is aimed at unemployed and job-seeking individuals in Vienna who wish to acquire missing basic qualifications in order to enter the Jobs PLUS Training program in the field of municipal public services. Private individuals with German language skills at level B1, as well as EEA citizens, third-country nationals, or Austrians with a migration background, can join at any time on an ongoing basis. 100% of the costs for German courses, courses to obtain university entrance qualifications, supplementary exams, swimming courses, and other necessary basic qualifications are funded. Applications open on September 1, 2023, and can be submitted indefinitely. A prerequisite is, among other things, the intention to start the Jobs PLUS Training program or to simultaneously use funding for public services.
For approval, a completed VOR admission form and a participant-related cost estimate must be submitted. In the evaluation, meeting the access requirements plays a central role, as does the direct cost coverage confirmation to the participants as well as properly approved invoices (initial and secondary approval). With the grant, participants are specifically prepared for training and career entry and thus gain access to targeted counseling sessions and courses. This comprehensive funding approach strengthens the professional development of unemployed Viennese and contributes to the sustainable fulfillment of qualification requirements.
