VOR Jobs PLUS Training

The VOR Jobs PLUS Training supports private individuals living in Vienna in making up for missing basic qualifications required to enter training programs in municipal public services. Interested parties who, for example, need to improve their German language skills, obtain university entrance qualifications, complete supplementary exams, or attend swimming courses receive full cost coverage (100%). Applications can be submitted continuously, enabling timely participation in counseling and qualification offers provided by the Vienna Employees Promotion Fund (waff). The goal is to reduce barriers to entering the workforce and to establish a solid foundation for sustainable skilled workers in social and health-related sectors.

Expenses for German courses, university entrance qualification programs, examination fees, and other basic qualifications are funded. A prerequisite is the planned entry into a Jobs PLUS training program in municipal public services and meeting the waff eligibility criteria. To apply, an invoice with initial and secondary approval as well as a cost coverage confirmation must be submitted. Through the combination of individual counseling and financial support, this grant model makes an important contribution to securing skilled labor in Vienna and enables participants to enter promising training pathways with minimal barriers.
