Welcome Alliance Fund

The Welcome Alliance Fund pools financial resources from foundations, companies, and private contributions to support projects that sustainably improve the arrival and integration processes of refugees and migrants in Germany. The initiative targets non-profit organizations as well as committed individuals who aim to strengthen social cohesion through innovative and cross-sectoral approaches. Special emphasis is placed on promoting collaborations in which diverse actors work together to address challenges in the fields of migration and social affairs more effectively. The fund positions itself as a public-private funding approach that intensifies dialogue between the state, business, and civil society.

With a clearly defined funding objective, the fund supports structured projects that set new long-term standards in arrival and participation processes. Eligible expenses include, for example, rent, travel, and catering costs. The offering covers different types of funding: up to €200,000 is available for collaborative projects, while in urgent cases, up to €30,000 can be granted as immediate assistance on short notice. A current tax exemption certificate is required for application, and emphasis is placed on building cross-sectoral partnerships. At the same time, a transparent and swift application process ensures straightforward handling, making the fund an attractive instrument for crisis and integration support.

Application opportunities for the Welcome Alliance Fund are continuously available, with extended application phases also taking place at set deadlines. Organizational structures that distinguish their projects through committed engagement and participatory working methods may apply for funding.
