Description
The Leben pur Science Awards annually honor outstanding scientific theses and research projects that provide innovative approaches to improving the quality of life for people with complex disabilities. Open nationwide, the award is aimed at individuals – especially scientists, students, and researchers – who are engaged in the fields of research & innovation, science, health, as well as work & social affairs. The prize highlights works that impress through high scientific relevance, practical applicability, and a clear degree of innovation. Submissions are made once a year and require the submission of a concise summary (abstract) as well as the complete thesis or project description.
With the Leben pur Science Award, the Leben pur Foundation aims to make forward-looking findings for the promotion of participation and care visible and to encourage further research. The evaluation is based on the quality of the methodology, the contribution to improving living and participation conditions, and the degree of innovation of the achievements. Interested applicants submit their works via the Foundation’s official project platform – exact deadlines are published annually. Through the award, recipients not only gain public recognition but are also integrated into a network of experts in the field of complex disabilities. The prize thus creates a sustainable added value for science, practice, and the societal discourse on inclusive living realities.
