Description
The funding program "Living with the Future: Photovoltaics" is aimed at owners of residential buildings in Baden-Württemberg who wish to use renewable energies and actively contribute to the energy transition. Under the umbrella of L-Bank – the State Credit Bank of Baden-Württemberg – this supplementary grant offer continuously provides financial support for the procurement and installation of photovoltaic systems as well as their grid integration. The goal is to accelerate the installation of solar-powered systems on residential buildings and to sustainably strengthen climate protection measures in the state. Both private individuals and companies, as well as non-profit organizations and public institutions, can submit an application depending on their residence or place of business in Baden-Württemberg and ownership requirements.
Eligible expenses include all costs related to photovoltaic systems: from the procurement of modules and mounting technology to grid connection and integration into existing energy supply structures. For the application, a completed application form, a current cost estimate, and proof of ownership of the residential building are required. The continuously open application submission allows for flexible planning without a deadline. The program is managed by L-Bank, which, as the state's development bank, particularly supports projects in the areas of energy efficiency and climate protection. This offer complements L-Bank’s broad product portfolio and makes a decisive contribution to the implementation of the state-wide climate protection goals.
