Housing and Homeless Assistance of the MUT Foundation

The MUT Foundation continuously supports non-profit organizations and public institutions in Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein to enable homeless and housing-insecure individuals to live with dignity. Through financial grants, the foundation funds projects in Hannover and Husum that maintain and expand urgently needed aid services through regular contributions. The primary focus is on the direct impact of the funding: local providers receive reliable support to operate emergency shelters, counseling services, and low-threshold meeting places. The ongoing support aims to strengthen social cohesion and open up new perspectives for those affected.

Eligible for funding are exclusively non-profit organizations, associations, and public institutions based in or operating in Hannover or Husum, whose projects are clearly situated within the field of housing and homelessness assistance. Applications can be submitted at any time, as decisions on grants are made continuously. A prerequisite for funding is proof of a viable concept that includes needs-based services such as street work, integration assistance, or counseling offerings. Through transparent selection processes and regular evaluations, the MUT Foundation ensures targeted use of funds and contributes to providing homeless individuals with a stable foundation for life.
