Description
The Wolfgang Wirichs Foundation awards the Trade Promotion Prize to outstanding graduates of dual study programs in the trade-related sector with a prize of €2,000. Eligible to apply are individuals from all over Germany who have successfully completed their training in the fields of wholesale and foreign trade, retail, e-commerce, or logistics and can demonstrate a bachelor’s or master’s degree with at least a grade of “good.” This award promotes excellent achievements, honors innovative approaches, and strengthens the scientific exchange between theory and practice in the trade sector. The decision is based on the final grade and a well-founded justification of the personal suitability for the prize.
Interested graduates should submit their documents by post and digitally by November 6, 2026. A complete application includes a CV, evidence of hobbies, private commitment or voluntary work, a motivation letter explaining suitability, the bachelor’s/master’s thesis as a PDF, the university degree certificate, an evaluation letter from the supervising professors, if applicable the IHK certificate of completion, as well as an assessment from the training supervisor.
