Description

In the nationwide open Young Impact Fund – Make Action POSSIBLE NOW! groups of at least two people under 27 years of age can apply for grants of €300 or €500 for projects aimed at preserving biodiversity, climate protection, and climate justice. The two-month project duration enables rapid implementation, with online submission of ideas by March 30, July 30, or November 30 of each year until 2028. Funding requirements include a project location in Germany, a direct connection to the funding objective, participants under 27 years of age, and the exclusion of double funding from public sources. Initiatives by members of the federal boards of the participating youth organizations are excluded.

The call is aimed at diverse groups – from school classes and youth groups to students and trainees – and covers thematic priorities in education, environmental/nature conservation, labor & social affairs, energy efficiency, as well as child and youth development. Unbureaucratic disbursement, professional support through project buddies, and recurring deadlines create a low-threshold opportunity to realize independent actions in a democratic and inclusive society. The funding initiative supports committed young people in making their ideas visible and setting sustainable impulses for their region.
