Description
The Homeopathy Certificate Foundation (SQhT) offers a nationwide continuous opportunity for the two-year renewal of the homeopathy certificate for therapists. The aim of this recertification is to ensure and further develop the quality of homeopathic treatment in accordance with defined quality criteria. Eligible for funding are already certified practitioners who wish to demonstrate their expertise in the health and education & training context through regular continuing education. Applications are submitted unsolicited upon the expiry date of the current certificate and are subject to evaluation based on the completeness of the application, compliance with continuing education obligations, and adherence to SQhT quality standards. The funding is provided as an "Other" grant and supports therapists in their professional development and responsible patient care.
The following prerequisites apply for the application: a valid SQhT homeopathy certificate and recognition of the quality criteria. Required documents include a completed application for certificate renewal, proof of homeopathic continuing education (60 teaching units within two years), clinical continuing education (16 teaching units/2 years), and, if applicable, a supervision journal. Teaching units (TU) of 45 minutes are recognized as CME points. SQhT-certified working groups, supervisions, or own publications can replace up to 50% of the obligation. Over- and under-fulfillments can be carried over to subsequent periods, and especially experienced therapists aged 65 or 67 and above have the possibility of exemptions. Through the regularly renewed self-commitment to ethical guidelines and medical diligence, the foundation contributes to sustainable quality assurance in classical homeopathy.
