Description
The funding offer in Hamburg is aimed at educational professionals and teaching staff from daycare centers, preschool classes, primary schools (1st grade), and the full-day education and care sector (GBS) who wish to sustainably shape the transition from daycare to school. The focus is on an experiential-oriented ESD action week (June 8–12, 2026), thematic networking meetings, and a full-day training session in September 2026. All modules are free of charge and provide a space for professional exchange, getting to know proven practical examples, and developing joint implementation strategies. The combination of practice-oriented impulses and collegial networking promotes cooperation between daycare centers, primary schools, and external educational partners and lays the foundation for cross-departmental collaboration in the transition area.
Participants benefit from extensive handouts with field-tested materials and concrete action proposals on topics such as sustainable mobility, resource-conserving nutrition, and participatory project design. Through the flexible involvement of external partners and the option to select individual modules, the offer can be tailored individually to the needs of the institutions. The event series starts in June 2026 and offers the opportunity to set pioneering impulses as a pilot for establishing a sustainable transition concept. Registration via a short form with name, institution, and email grants access to all dates and emphasizes equal opportunities for all interested parties without additional barriers.
