Description
The nationwide program "Future Centers" is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), their employees, as well as solo self-employed individuals who wish to actively shape the digital, ecological, and demographic transformation. It offers 100% funded, free consulting and qualification services that are precisely tailored to the needs of the participants. In regionally anchored institutions, interested parties receive practical analyses, workshops, and individual coaching to digitalize business processes, develop sustainable environmental strategies, and address the demographic challenges of the working world. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing flexible entry points to facilitate access and enable continuous support.
The program is managed by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) in cooperation with the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus); the Center for the Future of Work (ZZA) acts as a think tank and network manager, coordinating the professional exchange between the twelve regional locations. In addition to comprehensive consulting and tailored training formats, the offering promotes strong networking among stakeholders from business, science, and administration. By focusing on knowledge exchange and best-practice examples, pioneering work models are created that sustainably secure competitiveness and strengthen innovative capacity. The program thus creates a platform to implement digital tools, apply ecological standards, and utilize demographic potentials – all without financial contribution from participants.
